Lacrosse Falls to West Chester

WEST CHESTER-- The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team fell to West Chester on Wednesday by a score of 20-10.
The Huskies trailed 11-3 at halftime, but cut the deficit to 11-5 in the first two minutes of the second half on goals from Sam Alexander (Willow Grove/Upper Moreland) and Cali Toms (Pottstown/Pottsgrove). West Chester then scored the next nine goals to go in front 20-5 with 12 minutes to play in the game.
The Huskies did score the final five goals of the game with Alexander netting three of them. Alexander finished with five goals, while Kim Springman (Downingtown/Bishop Shanahan) added three.
Bloomsburg falls to 4-4, 3-2 in the PSAC, and will play at Lock Haven on Saturday at 1 p.m.
