Huskies Drop Game to Millersville in Men's Basketball

MILLERSVILLE —Darron Pressley scored a game-high 20 points to lead Millersville to a 91-54 win over Bloomsburg in men's college basketball action Wednesday night.

The Marauders, 11-11, 4-4 PSAC East, led from start to finish in the game jumping out to a 15-5 lead with Pressley hitting three three-pointers in the first five minutes of the game. The Marauders, who hit eight first half three-pointers, extended the lead to 31-12 on a layup from Michah Davenport. The Huskies made a mini-run and cut the deficit to 13 points, 39-23, on buckets by Ryan Hewitt (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee), Billy Bryan (Denver/Reading Holy Name) and Brian Holsey (Philadelphia/J.R. Masterman).

In the second half the Marauders pushed their lead to as many as 41 points, 83-42, with 4:30 left to play. The Huskies got back to within 33 points, 85-52, after four points from John Owens (Philadelphia/Abington Friends) and a three-pointer from Ryan Nenstiel (Nuremburg/Weatherly).

Along with Millersville's Pressley getting 20 points, Davenport added 13 with Greg Test chipping in with 12.

Bloomsburg, 6-16, 1-7 PSAC East, got 17 points from Owens and 12 from Nenstiel.
