Bloomsburg Falls to West Chester in Men's Basketball

WEST CHESTER —Four players scored in doubles for West Chester as it picked up a 92-62 win over Bloomsburg in men's basketball action Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams led from start to finish in the game jumping out to an 11-4 lead in the first seven minutes of the game. Later with West Chester leading 30-20, the Huskies' Jason Benson (Pittsburgh/Schenly) hit a jumper to get Bloomsburg within eight with 3:06 left in the half. The Rams, though, closed out the half with an 11-4 run to lead 41-24 at the break.
West Chester put the game away with an 11-2 run to start the second half and cruised to the win.
Steve Fattori led the Golden Rams with 23 points, while Matt Kurtz added 15. In addition, Kofi Danquah had 12 and Nathan Wingerd chipped in with 10. In all 10 of the 12 players for West Chester scored.
Bloomsburg was led in scoring by Jason Benson who had 16 points and Ryan Nenstiel (Nuremburg/Weatherly) with 12. The Huskies, 5-11, 0-2 in the PSAC East, will host Mansfield Wednesday.
