Bloomsburg Falls in Men's Basketball ActionBOWIE, MD—The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team dropped an 86-73 decision to Felician College in the opening game of the Bowie State Classic Friday night. The Huskies trailed at halftime 50-36 and cut the deficit to 10 points midway through the second half, but could get no closer. Sophomore John Owens (Philadelphia/Abington Friends) led the Huskies with a career-high 24 points, while Ryan Nenstiel (Nuremburg/Weatherly) added 14 and Billy Bryan (Denver, PA/Holy Name) a career-best 13 points. Charles Boyd led the Golden Falcons with 15 points and was one of four players in double figures Bloomsburg, 0-2, will play Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday at 2 p.m. |
