Bloomsburg Falls in Men's Basketball to IUP

INDIANA--The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team lost to Indiana (PA), 101-54, in a PSAC cross-over game Saturday.

The Huskies scored the game's opening bucket on a jumper by Marion Rose (Philadelphia/Mastbaum Tech) before the Indians went on a 17-2 run over the next six minutes go in front 17-4. Later, with IUP leading by 12 at 29-17, the Indians went on a 16-0 run to put the game out of reach.

Rose led the Huskies, 3-12, with 13 points, while Billy Bryan added 12 points.

IUP, 10-3, was led by 26 points each from Lawrence Baker and Eddie Peterson.

Bloomsburg will be back in action on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Lock Haven.
