Bloomsburg Men's Basketball Loses to Division-I St. Bonaventure

BLOOMSBURG - An early lead was dissolved after just seven minutes as the Bloomsburg Men's Basketball team lost an exhibition game to Division-I St. Bonaventure, 91-54.

The Huskies jumped out in front with a 7-6 lead early in the first half, but the Bonnies went on a 13-0 run and didn't look back. Four players finished in double digits in scoring to lead St. Bonaventure's balanced attack.

Bloomsburg was lead in scoring by Matt Jefferson (Philadelphia/Engineering and Science) who netted 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Marion Rose (Philadelphia/Mastbaum) finished with 11 points and Billy Bryan (Denver/Holy Name) paced the Huskies with seven points and eight rebounds.

The Huskies open the regular season at home against Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Nelson Field House.
