Huskies Fall to Cheyney

CHEYNEY- Cheyney's Dawud Morris scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Wolves to a 100-61 victory over the Bloomsburg University men's basketball team in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match up on Saturday.
The Huskies held an early 11-8 advantage after Billy Bryan (Denver/ Holy Name) hit a three-pointer with 15:38 to go in the first half. The lead would be short lived as Cheyney responded with a 20-4 run over the next seven minutes to take a 28-15 lead with 8:15 left before halftime. The Wolves continued to extend their lead throughout the remainder of the first half and led 46-25 at the halfway point.
Cheyney quickly ended any chance of a Bloomsburg comeback as the Wolves started the second half with a 13-2 run to take a 59-27 lead with 16:17 left in the game.
Bryan led Bloomsburg (9-12, 1-6 in the PSAC East) with 11 points, while Matt Jefferson (Philadelphia/ George Washington) added ten points. The Huskies will be back in action on Wednesday as they host Millersville at 7:30 p.m.
