BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team lost to West Chester on Wednesday by a score of 59-56.

After taking an early 4-2 lead, Bloomsburg saw the visitors come back and go in front by eight, 25-17, at the break. In the second half, West Chester pushed its lead to 38-28 before the Huskies came storming back. Led by Buddy Rose's (Philadelphia/Mastbaum Tech) eight points and six more from Nick Jones (Rosedale, NY/Hillcrest), Bloomsburg tied the score at 42-42 with 10:35 to play.

West Chester, though, pushed the lead back to seven points on three different occasions before the Huskies fought back once again. Bloomsburg closed the gap to two points, 56-54, on a three-pointer from Jones with 3:15 to play. But, in the final 3:15, the Huskies managed just two free throws from Jones and had his game-tying three-point attempt miss the mark with a few seconds left in the game.
