Webster Named PSAC East Freshman of the Week For Fourth Time


BLOOMSBURG-- Bloomsburg University men's basketball player Larry Webster (Elkton, MD/Elkton) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Freshman of the Week for the period ending Feb. 15.

Webster earns his fourth PSAC East Freshman of the Week award of the year but his first since December after averaging 12.5 points and 11.0 rebounds in two games for the Huskies last week. He started his week with 10 points and eight rebounds in a loss to East Stroudsburg on Wednesday and then scored 15 points and tied his career best with 14 rebounds and also added two assists and a steal in a loss to West Chester on Saturday. He shot 62.5 percent from the floor (10-for-16) on the week and committed just two turnovers.

For the year Webster is averaging 12.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
