Webster Named PSAC Freshman of the Week for Fifth Time


BLOOMSBURG-- Bloomsburg University men's basketball player Larry Webster (Elkton, MD/Elkton) been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Freshman of the Week for the period ending Feb. 21. It is the second consecutive week and fifth time overall that Webster has been honored this season.

In two games last week Webster averaged 12.0 points and 14.5 rebounds as well as 1.5 blocks for Bloomsburg. He netted five points but pulled down 12 boards, including eight offensive, against Shippensburg, then scored 19 points and hauled in a career-high 17 rebounds with two blocks in a two-point loss to Millersville.

For the season Webster is second on the team in scoring with 12.8 points per game and leads the Huskies in rebounding with 9.5 a game and in blocked shots with 1.8 a game.
