Bloomsburg Puts Two on Men's All-PSAC Team

BLOOMSBURG—Two Bloomsburg University basketball players were named to the 1999-2000 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division basketball teams. Named to the All-PSAC second team were sophomore guard Aaron Carter (Plymouth Meeting/Penn Charter) and senior center Marc Wessell(Wexford/Pine-Richland).

Carter was the Huskies' leading scorer on the season, averaging 11.9 points per game. He was particularly strong over the last nine games, averaging 18.6 points, including a career-high 31 against Kutztown. Carter also averaged 3.1 rebounds per game and was a 46% shooter from three-point range.

Wessell was Bloomsburg's top rebounder, averaging 9.4 a game, including two 17-rebound performances. He also scored 10.5 points per contest and shot 53% from the field. Wessell notched double-doubles in 12 of 28 games this season.

The pair helped the Huskies to a third-place finish in the PSAC East. Bloomsburg advanced to the conference semifinals before ending the season with a 71-64 loss to Slippery Rock. The Huskies finished 19-9 on the season.
