| Adam Clay 1st team |
Phil Bocchino 1st team |
Clay, a sophomore forward, was the Huskies' top scorer with eight goals and four assists for 20 points. He led a resurgent Bloomsburg offensive attack that more than doubled its scoring output from the year before (from 22 goals to 47 goals). Clay also scored the game-winning goals against Wilmington College, Goldey-Beacom and Bridgeport. He opened the season by scoring goals in four of the first five games.
Bocchino, a senior defender, was a tenacious organizer of defense that allowed 17 goals in 19 regular season matches and just 21 for the year. Tactically and vocally he led the back four and was the emotional leader of the team.
Both Clay and Bocchino helped the Huskies to a record of 12-3-5 and a ranking as high as number eight in the country during the year. Bloomsburg also set school records with a 12-game winning streak and a 16-game unbeaten streak, both dating back to last season. The 12 wins also were one shy of the school record for victories in a season.
