Adam Clay (Dallas/Dallas) scored once and had one assist to lead Bloomsburg University to a
2-0 win over the University of Bridgeport Friday afternoon. The win keeps the Huskies undefeated on the
season at 7-0 and also ties the  school record for consecutive wins at 11 first set by the 1979 team.
The Huskies will go for the record setting win Saturday when they face Mercy College in New York.
After a scoreless opening half, Clay got things going with an assist from Grep Pompei (Andover, NJ/Newtown).
Then, 20 minutes later, the Huskies got an insurance goal when Mike Ross (Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg) scored
off a Clay assist. Dustin Henry posted the win in goal for the Huskies stopping four shots on the
afternoon.
The Huskies tied the school record for consecutive by winninng the last four games of the 2001 season and
opening this year with seven straight victories.
