Notes: The Huskies continued their winning ways, improving to 5-0 with a 3-2 overtime win
against Goldey Beacom College.  Bloomsburg, nationally ranked at number 20
this week, had to overcome a two goal deficit to remain undeafeated on the year.
The Lightning jumped out to a 2-0 lead before freshman forward Adam Grady (Malvern/
Archbishop Carroll) scored his first collegiate goal with an assist from sophomore forward
Venus Cherry (Castries, St. Lucia/Castries Comprehensive) with 12:06 left in the first half.
Sophomore forward Greg Pompei (Andover, NJ/Newton) scored the lone goal in the second
half to force overtime.  Junior midfielder Andre Giannotti (Wyomissing/Wyomissing) assisted
on the goal.  The score remained 2-2 until 5:06 into the first overtime, when junior
forward Travis Martzall (Myerstown/ELCO) corralled a loose ball and passed it to
sophomore midfielder Adam Clay (Dallas/Dallas), who scored the game-winning goal.
Goaltender Kevin Wright (Souderton/Pennridge) made six saves to improve his personal
record to 3-0 on the year.
This game marked the third time in five contests that Goldey Beacom has played an overtime
game this year.  The Lightning are now 1-2 in such games.
