victories. Scoring first for the
Huskies was Greg Pompei (Andover, NJ/Newton) off an |

assist by Mike Ross (Bloomsburg/ Bloomsburg Area),
but Mercy answered quickly putting the |
|
|
Huskies down 2-1. Cherry
scored, bringing the game to 2-2 and then assisted a goal by Derek Smith |
|
(Cochranville/Octorara
Area) to put the Huskies back on top. Karl Lohninger (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) |
|
|
scored the lone second
half goal off an assist by Pompei to
seal the win. Dustin Henry (Bernville/ |
|
|
Tulpehocken) made four saves in goal
for the Huskies who have now won 12 straight games dating |
|
back to last season. The Huskies broke the
record of 11 straight wins set by the 1979 team. |
