Bloomsburg University Men's Soccer Now 15th in National Ranking

BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team is ranked 15th in the nation in Division II by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas rankings. The 8-0 Huskies moved up two spots from last week's No. 17. Bloomsburg remains undefeated after defeating the University of Bridgeport, 2-0 and Mercy College, 4-2. Dating back to last year, the Huskies have won twelve consecutive games.

Adam Clay (Dallas/Dallas) leads the scoring attack for the Huskies with five goals and three assists for 13 points. Mike Ross (Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg Area) second on the team in points with nine. Venus Cherry (Castries, St. Lucia/Castries Comprehensive) is leading the team in assists with four and has registered eight points. Also contributing eight points are Greg Pompei (Andover, NJ/Newton) and Travis Martzall (Myerstown/ELCO). Dustin Henry (Bernville/Tulpehocken) has been solid in goal, with five wins, a goals-against average of 0.60, a save percentage of .812 and three shutouts.
