Huskies Men's Soccer Continues Climb In National RankingsBLOOMSBURG— The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team moved up to 14th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas Division II national rankings. The Huskies, 8-0-2, moved up from 15th place last week and have gradually moved up after opening the season ranked 21st. The Huskies most recent game was a hard-fought 1-1 double overtime tie against Dowling College, ranked 17th when the two teams met. On the season, Adam Clay (Dallas/Dallas) leads the Huskies with five goals and three assists, while Adam Grady (Malvern/Archbishop Carroll) has registered four goals and one assist. Mike Ross (Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg) has three goals and four assists, while Greg Pompei (Andover, NJ/Newton) has three goals and three assists. In goal, Dustin Henry (Bernville/Tulpehocken), 5-0-1, has 23 saves and a goals against average of 0.64, while Kevin Wright (Souderton/Pennridge), 3-0-1, leads the team in saves with 26 and has a goals against average of 1.17. The Huskies host Caldwell College, 3-7, on Thursday at 4 p.m.
