Men's Soccer Continues to Climb In National RankingsBLOOMSBURG— The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team moved up to 8th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas Division II national rankings. The Huskies, 10-0-2, moved up from 14th place last week and have gradually moved up after opening the season ranked 21st. The Huskies most recent win came in the form of a 1-0 shutout over C.W. Post on Oct. 5. Bloomsburg is now undefeated in its last 16 games dating back to last season. On the season, Adam Clay (Dallas/Dallas) leads the Huskies with six goals and five assists, while Adam Grady (Malvern/Archbishop Carroll), Greg Pompei (Andover, NJ/Newton), Karl Lohninger (Sparta, NJ/Sparta), and Travis Martzall (Myerstown/ELCO) have each registered four goals apiece. Mike Ross (Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg) has three goals and five assists, while has three goals and three assists. In goal, Dustin Henry (Bernville/Tulpehocken), 6-0-1, has 26 saves and a goals against average of 0.55, while Kevin Wright (Souderton/Pennridge), 4-0-1, leads the team in saves with 27 and has a goals against average of 1.05.
