Bloomsburg Falls to Slippery Rock

BLOOMSBURG — Slippery Rock's Justin Riggle scored in overtime with 6:18 left to boost Slippery Rock over Bloomsburg, 2-1, in men's soccer action on Saturday.

Bloomsburg's Luke Haile (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia) scored the first goal of the game putting the Huskies in front 1-0 with 22 minutes remaining left in the first half. The Rock's David Keller scored to tie the game at 1-1 just 21 seconds later.

In the second half, Bloomsburg had another chance to score off a corner kick with 16:40 left, but the shot just missed the goal. Huskies' goalkeeper TJ Ciotti (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) made a crucial save towards the end of the second half to keep the game tied. Ciotti had four saves in the game.

Bloomsburg falls to 5-12, 0-6 in the PSAC, and will host Shippensburg next Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
