Bloomsburg Men's Soccer Defeats Kutztown 4-2

BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team defeated the Kutztown Golden Bears, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon. The game was played in a steady rain.

In the opening 35 minutes of play the Golden Bears took a 2-0 lead over the Huskies. The second half was a different story though as Christian Rota (Langhorne/Neshaminy) and Justin McLennan (Wyndmoor/Springfield Twp.) each scored two goals to lead come back and seal the win.

McLennan got the Huskies on the board in the 57th minute before Rota tied the game with a goal three minutes later. Rota put the Huskies in front 10 minutes later with Chris Chestnut getting the assist. McLennan capped the comeback with a goal in the 72nd minute.

The Huskies 8-6-4, 3-3-2 PSAC East will host West Chester on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
