Bloomsburg Men's Soccer Downs New York Institute of Technology

BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team defeated New York Institute of Technology, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon.

Mike Jones (Paoli/Great Valley) scored twelve minutes into the game to put the Huskies on top, 1-0. Both teams went scoreless in the second half to preserve the victory for Bloomsburg.

Huskies goalkeeper David Leiendecker (Easton/Easton) had seven saves.

The Huskies, 4-1-3, 1-1-1 in the PSAC, will travel to West Chester University on Tuesday for a 2:00 p.m. start.
