Bloomsburg University Men's Soccer Falls to Slippery Rock

BLOOMSBURG -The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team fell to Slippery Rock University by a score of 2-0 on Saturday at Sports Stadium.

Iain Langstone scored just eight minutes into the game to give Slippery Rock a quick 1-0 lead. The first half would remain scoreless thanks to Huskies goalkeeper David Leiendecker (Easton/Easton), who had six saves at the break.

In the 64th minute, Slippery Rock went ahead by two when from Jeremy Deighton found the back of the net. The Huskies put up seven total shots while Leiendecker finished nine saves.

Bloomsburg, 7-5-2, 3-2-1 PSAC East, will host Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
