KUTZTOWN —The Bloomsburg University men's swim team finished second overall at the Kutztown University Golden Bear Invitational Saturday. The Huskies totaled 557 points for the two-day event with Kutztown winning the event with 635.5 points.

Individually, Tom DiSalavatore took first in the 100 buttefly in 55.90, while Chris Rumfelt was first in the 200 free in 1:47.61 and second in the 100 free in 49.89. In addition, Travis Backenstoe was third in the 100 free in 50.11.

In the 100 breast, Jason Davis was third in 1:03.67 and second in the 200 breast in 2:20.67. In the 100 backstroke, Brandon Hilt was second in 55.80 and second in 200 back in 2:03.58.

In the day's longest event, the 1650 free, Robert Robitaille was third in 18:04.47.

Among the relays, the Huskies took first in the 200 medley relay in 1:40.62, first in the 400 free relay in 3:16.07 and first in the 800 free in 7:27.58.

Bloomsburg will be back in action Dec. 5-7 at the Southern Connecticut Invitational.
