Men's Swim Team Downs Lycoming College
WILLIAMSPORT Andy Wise had two individual first place finishes to lead the Bloomsburg University men's swim team to a 120-83 win over Lycoming College Tuesday evening.
Wise took first in the 1000 free in 10:55.44 and 500 free in 5:16.38 for the Huskies. Also taking first place for Bloomsburg was Tom DiSalvatore in the 200 IM in 2:09.44; Brandon Hilt in the 200 back in 54.53 and Jason Davis in the 200 breast in 1:04.68.
Also, the team of Hilt, Davis, DiSalvatore and Travis Backenstoe took first in the 200-medley relay in 1:39.82. Backenstoe was also second in both the 50 and 100 free events.
Bloomsburg, 1-0, will be at the Bucknell Invitational this Saturday.
