Bloomsburg's Smith Receives All-American Honors at NCAA Swimming Championships

INDIANAPOLIS-- At day two of the 2006 NCAA Division II swimming championships the Huskies Dianna Smith (West Grove/Avon Grove) finished 13th in the 200-free event in a time of 1:55.06. Her finish earned her honorable mention All-American honors.

Smith, a freshman, reached the "B" finals by taking 15th in the Thursday morning preliminaries in a time of 1:54.41.

On the men's side, Chris Rumfelt (Shamokin/Shamokin) finished 18th in the preliminaries in a time of 1:41.83 and did not advance to the finals.

Action will continue on Friday at the NCAA championships.
