Bloomsburg Swimmers Finish Day One at PSAC Championships

MECHANICSBURG -- The Bloomsburg University men's and women's swim teams completed day one action at the 2007 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships on Thursday.
In the 1000-free, Ashley Yelinek (Youngwood/Southmoreland) took fifth for the women's team in a time of 10:40.57, while Sara Hippeli (Quakertown/Quakertown) took 11th in a time of 10:53.27. For the men, Dereck Fritz (Stevens/Ephrata) was 15th in 10:36.45.
Action continues both Friday and Saturday at Cumberland Valley High School.
