Huskies Race at Meet in Florida

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--The Bloomsburg University men's and women's swim teams competed in the Bob Mowerson Sprints that were part of the 73rd Annual College Swimming Coaches Association - Swim Forum in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A total of 581 swimmers from 19 different colleges and universities competed in the meet held at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex

Participating teams were scored in two divisions: NCAA I and NCAA II-III. The BU women finished third in the D2-D3 category while the men finished fifth.

John King had the best BU finish with an overall third place performance in the 400-meter free. He was the top D2-D3 finisher and was only seconds behind two D1 swimmers from the University of Illinois-Chicago and Binghamton University.

Sarah Grawe was BU top women's finisher when she picked up a second place in the D2-D3 category in 100-meter free.
