Bloomsburg Men's Tennis Competes In Cornell Invitational

BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team competed in the Cornell University Fall Invitational on September 21st-23rd. Mark Velleck advanced to the quarterfinals of the B Flight Singles division after defeating David Hewitt of Stonybrook. Mike McGrath also advanced to the quarterfinals of the B Flight Singles after defeating Sonny Avichal of Army.

Kurtis Caster advanced to the semifinal round of the C Flight Consolation after defeating Mike Laycob of Cornell.

In the B Flight doubles, Caster and Brendan Miller advanced to the quarterfinal round after defeating Lowe/Royce of Colgate in a close 9-8 match.
