Bloomsburg Downs Kutztown in Men's Tennis

KUTZTOWN —The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team defeated Kutztown University, 7-2, on Wednesday in a matchup of the top two teams in the PSAC Eastern Division.

Bloomsburg jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles action, then put away the Golden Bears with wins in four of the six singles matches. Two of the wins for Bloomsburg were three-set victories, one by Aleks Kalezic at number two and the other by Mark Vellek at number four.

Bloomsburg, now 12-5, 2-0 in the PSAC East, will host East Stroudsburg Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
