Bloomsburg Falls to Northwood in Men's Tennis

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL —The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team lost to Northwood, 5-1, on Wednesday in third round of the NCAA Division II Tennis Championships.

The Huskies dropped all three matches in doubles play, but battled hard in single play. When the match was won by Northwood, Bloomsburg two of the matches were in the third set and another was deadlocked at 5-5 in the second set.

“The guys decided after doubles that they were not going to go down without a fight,” said coach Marty Coyne. “They battled hard throughout, despite the high heat and humidity. I am proud of the way they played.”

Bloomsburg ends its season with mark of 16-9.
