Brian Bogus Named PSAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University men's tennis player Brian Bogus (Conroe, TX/Oak Ridge) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the period ending April 11th.

Bogus was a perfect 6-0 this week in match play, helping the Huskies to a 3-0 team record for the week.

Bogus opened the week by taking two matches at Millersville. He was a 6-1, 6-4 winner at number one singles, and earned an 8-0 win playing at number two doubles. On Sunday, Bogus was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at number two singles, and an 8-1 winner at number one doubles versus Slippery Rock. He also won his singles match versus the New Jersey Institute of Technology 6-4, 6-0 and was an 8-0 winner in his doubles match.

With the wins, Bogus improved to 16-8 in doubles play and 9-10 in singles action this season.
