Dan Gal Named PSAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Year

BLOOMSBURG--Bloomsburg University men's tennis player Dan Gal (South Park/South Park) has been named the 2007 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Year.

Gal, a junior, won the PSAC Men's Individual championship in October of last year as well as the league's doubles title with teammate Ryan Chow. He completed the season with a 19-4 overall record, including a 10-0 tournament record and a 2-0 mark at this year's conference championships. Against PSAC competition, he lost just one singles match and two doubles matches the entire season. He was also named the team's MVP for the year.

The 2005 PSAC Rookie of the Year owns a 43-29 record at Bloomsburg.
