Bloomsburg Men's Tennis Falls to East Stroudsburg
WILLIAMSPORT - The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team fell to East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-4.
The Huskies took a 2-0 lead after the double matches with the team of Dan Gal (South Park/South Park) and Ryan Glubo (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) winning 8-2 at number one while Dan Phillips (Colchester, England/East Bergholt) and Wil Biddle (Bristol, England/Richard Huish College) won 9-7 at number two doubles. East Stroudsburg came back to win number three doubles to close the Bloomsburg lead to 2-1.
At singles, Gal and Glubo were winners at number one and number three, respectively, but East Stroudsburg took four of the six matches to earn the 5-4 team victory.
The Huskies (0-2) will be back in action on March 11 when they kick off their spring training trip with a match against Rhodes College in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
