Men's Tennis Beats Ithaca College

HILTON HEAD, SC--The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team defeated Ithaca College, 5-4, on Monday in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The Huskies led 2-1 after doubles play and then split the six singles matches to earn the win. Two key victories came from Dan Phillips (Colchester, England) and Wil Biddle (Bristol, England), who both won in tie-breakers. Dan Gal (South Park, PA/South Park), playing number one singles, had made easy work of his opponent winning 6-1, 6-0.

The Huskies will off Tuesday and next play Presbyterian College on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
