Huskies Advance at PSAC Championships

SHIPPENSBURG-- Two Bloomsburg University men's tennis players, Mitchell Zenaty (Fairport, NY/Fairport) and Jeff Nuhfer (Warren/Warren), have advanced to the semi-finals of the 2007 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Individual tennis championships.

Zenaty reached the final four with wins over Dusty Speicher of Millersville, 6-0, 6-0; and Chris Matisse of Millersville, 6-2, 6-4. Zenaty will face Santiago Baquerizo of Kutztown in the semi's.

Nuhfer reached the final four with victories over John Howanski of West Chester, 6-0, 6-2; and his teammate Ryan Chow (Toronto, Canada) by a 6-2, 4-1, retired.

Chow won his opening round match in a marathon, 6-1, 4-6, 10-6 in the tie-breaker before losing to Nuhfer.

The semi-finals and finals will be held on Sunday.
