Men's Tennis Players Lose in PSAC Semi-Finals

SHIPPENSBURG-- Several members of the Bloomsburg University men's tennis team came up short in their bid to win Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Individual and Doubles Tennis Championships on Sunday.

In singles play, both Mitchell Zenaty (Fairport, NY/Fairport) and Jeff Nuhfer (Warren/Warren) were defeated in the semi-finals by players from Kutztown. Zenaty lost to Santiago Baquerizo, 6-7, 6-1, 10-6 in the tie-breaker, while Nuhfer lost to Lukas Labitsch, 6-2, 6-4.

In doubles play, the team of Dan Gal (South Park/South Park) and Ryan Chow (Toronto, Canada) lost in the finals to Baquerizo and Labitsch of Kutztown, 8-2.

The Huskies are idle till February of 2008 when the spring portion of their schedule begins.
