Bloomsburg to Play Kutztown for PSAC Title

BLOOMSBURG--Bloomsburg University will play Kutztown University on Saturday for the 2008 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) men's tennis championship after both teams won semi-final matches on Friday. The Huskies beat East Stroudsburg by a score of 5-1, while Kutztown beat Millersville by a 5-2 score.

In the Huskies match Dan Gal (South Park/South Park) was a two-time winner for the Huskies as he teamed with Mitch Zenaty (Fairport, NY/Fairport) to win at number one doubles 8-1, then picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at number one singles. Daniel Phillips (Colchester, England) was also a two-time winner picking up a win at number two doubles and number four singles.

For Kutztown, Arpit Sharma was one of two, two-time winners picking up wins at number one doubles and number singles.

The Huskies and Golden Bears will play for the title at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Bloomsburg University courts.
