Track Teams Compete in Captain's Classic

NEWPORT NEWS, VA-The Bloomsburg University men's and women's track teams competed in the Captain's Classic at Christopher Newport University on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Danielle Kramer finished first in the 5000-meter race out of a field of 12 runners. Her PSAC qualifying time of 17:49 was a new meet record.

Also in the women's 5000-meter race, sophomore Jennie Roberts finished fourth with a PSAC qualifying time of 19:14. Sophomore Jessica Lightcap finished fifth with a time of 19:31.

In the men's 5000-meter race, freshman Justin Dosch finished in second place out of a field of fifteen runners with a time of 15:54.
