Kramer Wins Second PSAC Indoor Championship for BloomsburgEAST STROUDSBURG —Bloomsburg University track standout Danielle Kramer (Coal Township/Shamokin) picked up her second indoor track title at 2003 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships when she came home first in the 3,000-meter event at East Stroudsburg University. Kramer, a sophomore, won the title by besting a field of 17 in a time of 10:24.99, seven seconds than her previous best time. Head coach Karen Brandt said Danielle ran the perfect race. “Danielle really worked the field,” said Brandt. “She stayed where she need to be early in the race, then made the move at the right time and pulled away from the field for the win. It was a remarkable performance and I am very proud of her.” On Saturday, Kramer won the first-ever indoor championship in school history when she took first in the 5,000-meters. Also on Sunday, Mary Bacher (Allentown/Central Catholic) was ninth in the mile in a field of 18 running a personal-best time of 5:28.50. It was a full six seconds faster than her previous best time in that event. On the men's side, Greg McGhee (Philadelphia/Cheltenham) was 6th in the 55-meters in a time of 6.60, while BeJey Thomas (Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg) was 8th in 6.65.
