Bloomsburg Runs At Lafayette Track Meet

EASTON—The Bloomsburg University track team took part in the Lafayette Invitational on Saturday.

In the men's 3,000 meters Paul Gardiner was fourth of 22 runners in a time of 9:04:30, while Eric Wolfgang was 8th in the same event in a personal record time of 9:12.50.

In the men's steeplechase, Curtis Woodard was 6th of 16 runners in the field in PSAC-qualifying time of 9:58.20.

In the 1,500 meters Michael Espinosa ran a personal best 4:15.30, while in the men's 100 meters, Greg McGhee was third in a field of 15 in a time of 11.10 seconds.

For the women, in the 3,000 meters, Amanda Pisano was 8th of 25 in a personal best time of 10:42.00. She was the first Division II runner across the line in the race. In the 5,000 meters, Lisa Stefursky ran a personal best 19:41.30 seconds, while in the women's steeplechase, Mary Bacher was 5th of 13 in a time of 12:12.50.

In the women's 1,500 meters, Katie Conlon ran a personal-best time of 4:57.00, while Colleen Ryan ran a personal-best of 5:14.50 in the same event.
