Bloomsburg Takes Part in Susquehanna Invitational

BLOOMSBURG —The Bloomsburg University indoor track team took part in the Susquehanna University Invitational Friday night.

On the men's side, sprinters BeJey Thomas won the 200-meter race in a time of 22.95 seconds to outdistance a field of 26. Teammate Greg McGhee was 6th in 23.69. In the 55-meter race, McGhee took first in a field of 37 in a time of 6.53, while Thomas was 3rd overall in a time of 6.58.

On the women's side, Danielle Kramer took first in the 3,000-meter race in a time of 10:40.33 with Lisa Stefursky fourth in 11:40.92.

In the 1,500-meter race, Mary Bacher was 8th in a PSAC-qualifying time of 5:10.06. In the 800-meter event, Cherise Mercer was 5th in a time of 2:29.09.
