Bloomsburg Track Team at University of Delaware Meet

NEWARK, DE —The Bloomsburg University track team took part in the University of Delaware track invitational on Saturday.

Battling high humidity and wind, the Huskies top performances of the day came from Cherise Mercer in the 800-meter event. Mercer was second in the race in a time of 2:17.30. For the men, sprinter Greg McGhee took first out of 14 runners at 100 meters in a time of 11.15. McGhee beat several Division I runners and one of the top-ranked Division III runners in country.

The Huskies are at the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday.
