Bloomsburg Takes Part in Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA —Several members of the Bloomsburg University men's and women's track teams took part in the Penn Relays on Thursday and Friday.

On the men's side, Justin Shepherd ran an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 30:58 at 10,000 meters late on Thursday. Also, the 4 x 400 relay team of Jamie Ruth, Dave Sanford, Greg McGhee and Matt Corridoni, finished in 3:23.13.

For the women, Amaber Hackenberg ran in the 5,000 meter event on Thursday and finished in 18:12, while the women's 4 x 400 team of Connie Raineri, Katie Conlon, Laura Duceman and Cherise Mercer finished fourth in their heat in a time of 4:08.
