In men's doubles action, Bloomsburg's Kurt Caster (Williamsport/Williamsport) and Brian Bogus (Conroe,TX/Oak Ridge) fell to Kutztown's Nandakumar and Alok Bhide in the championship round, 8-4.

In the women's doubles semifinals, Slippery Rock's Jessica Bungo and Ashley Michaux made quick work of Millersville's Kate Opilo and Morgan Burdette winning 8-1. In the finals, they were 8-4 victors over Indiana's Yvonne Niederbracht and Jackie Kulp who won by default over Shippensburg earlier in the day.

In the finals of women's singles, Niederbracht avenged her doubles loss to Bungo, the top seed, by winning 6-2, 6-4 to win the PSAC crown.

The Bloomsburg men's and women's tennis teams return to action next Friday as the host the East Regional of the NCAA Championships.
