BOSTON-MA.—Bloomsburg University runner Michele Wolyniec captured the 5,000 meter race at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships in Boston, MA. Saturday.

Wolyniec, seeded third, won the event in a time of 18:03, winning by a margin of 13 seconds over a runner from Kutztown. Wolyniec, a former All-American at 10,000 meters, earned All-ECAC honors with hyer win.

Amanda Eltringham finished fifth, in a field of 18, in the mile race, in 5:28 for the Huskies. Eltringham's finish also earned her All-ECAC honors. (The top six finishers in each event earned All-ECAC honors.)

The event was held at Boston University's Armory.
