BLOOMSBURG--Several members of the Bloomsburg University men's and women's soccer teams recently took part in the Children's Miracle Network Telethon Soccerfest, April 1 and 2, in Danville, PA.
The soccerfest, which attracted 128 children, was open to boys and girls 6-8 and 8-10 years of age and served as a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Telethon at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. The players, 21 in all from Bloomsburg, helped coach the boys and girls on the U8 teams. A total of $1,500 dollars was raised for the CMN telethon.
