BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University swept both the men's and women's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Swimmer of the Week awards for the period ending Jan. 12th.

Named the men's PSAC Swimmer of the Week was Jason Davis (Harrisburg/Central Dauphin), while Ashley Jones (Doylestown/Central Bucks East) was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Davis, a junior, was a two-time winner at the Port Orange Invitational in Florida taking first in the 100-breaststroke in 1:101.61 and the 200-breastroke in 2:19.47. Davis also took second in the 200 IM in 2:04.72.

Jones, a senior, was first in three individual freestyle events. She was first in the 100 in 56.51, the 200 in 1:59.74 and the 500 in 5:25.59. Jones helped Bloomsburg to the team title at the Invitational.

Bloomsburg will be back in action Friday night at Shippensburg and this Saturday at home with East Stroudsburg.
