Huskies Lose in Final Florida Game Saturday

OSCEOLA, FL—The Bloomsburg University softball team ended its trip to Florida with a 6-3 loss to Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday.

Wisconsin-Parkside jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning before the Huskies cut the deficit to one by scoring three times in the third. Kelly Zarski (Danville/Danville) had an RBI single in the inning, while Sara Roba (Emmaus/Emmaus) drove home two with a single.

Wisconsin-Parkside scored two runs in the sixth to go up 6-3 and then had to hold on as the Huskies threatened in the top of the seventh. Bloomsburg loaded the bases with no outs, but lined into a double play to end the threat.
