Jaime Wilson Named PSAC East Pitcher of the Week

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University softball player Jaime Wilson (Olyphant/Bishop O'Hara) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Pitcher of the Week.

Wilson posted a 0.00 ERA in a 2-0 week for the Huskies. In 13.2 innings, she allowed just eight hits and struck out 21. In a shutout against West Chester, she limited the Golden Rams to just five hits and collected 12 strikeouts. After entering the game in relief against Millersville, she threw 6.2 innings, striking out nine and only allowing three hits.

For the season Wilson is 9-1 with a 0.80 ERA. She has fanned 76 and walked just five in 70.1 innings of work.

Bloomsburg, 33-5, will visit East Stroudsburg on Tuesday starting at 2:30 p.m.
