Ashley Lynn Named PSAC East Pitcher of the Week

BLOOMSBURG--Bloomsburg University pitcher Ashley Lynn (Riverside/Danville) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Pitcher of the Week for the Period ending April 23rd.

Lynn made appearances in five of the Huskies six games last week, including three starts that ended in complete-game victories. Her best game of the week came in a 4-0 win over PSAC East Division leading Shippensburg. Lynn tossed a three-hitter while striking out 10 and did not walk a batter. In 27.2 innings pitched, she fanned 38 and earned three of the team's four wins for the week.

For the season, Lynn is 13-7 with a 1.46 ERA and 14 complete games and four shutouts. She leads the Huskies in innings pitched with 120 and in strikeouts with 127.
